Hi

I'm off to PDC next month and just wondering if there are any regular general knowledge or music quizzes on the strip? And, if so, what times do they start?

Many thanks!

There's quite a few quizzes but the best ones for us are the Owl and Pussycat ..Every night from 10.30 and the Barge Inn and Toby Jug I think they are a couple of times a week and start around 10pm, just call in and ask..

Redz2 does a music shot quiz as well sometimes which is good fun

Happy Holidays
Danny

Quizzes are for dark, cold winter nights at your local,in your local town. Not at 10.30pm in 20plus degrees when you should be sipping cocktails and watching the world go by    .

I didn't realise the two activities were mutually exclusive drwatson. I thought perhaps I could drink a cocktail and watch the world go by whilst at the same time having a bit of brain-stimulating fun answering some questions and maybe even win a few free cocktails.

Thanks for setting me straight though.

Sunset Beach does a music quiz every night, usually starts around 9pm.

Totally agree with Trev, :D

It's €3.50 for their cheapest lager and that is even during the day time when there's no entertainment on etc etc. don't get me started on alco pops/spirits/soft drinks
If you think lots of other places are doing a large beer at 1.5€/2€ it's almost buy one get one free.
Then if you count your wife kids etc it's a pretty expensive round

We called in one afternoon after going past for years, although we were the only 2 in there we got the impression that the bar staff were doing us a favour by letting us come in !

Happy Holidays
Danny
