I must go back to the Linekers issue. I'm sorry but I would never set foot in there, for the very reason (and I know I'm prejudging PDC Linekers and all that) that I once went to the Linekers in Las Americas where it was full of English football lads screaming 'ENGURRRLAAAND'. I have walked past PDC Linekers on many occassions and felt it was full of the same type of English football fans. If you attract a certain type, you will equally repel another type. You can guess I'm not English but I do have many English friends (funnily enough, none are football fans). Anyway, out of pure dislike for the name and all it stands for (in my opinion) I wish it would reopen as Domino's rather than Pizza Hut. mmmmm domino's Domino's dominos'. Craig, can you learn how to make Pizza?

Please please please tell me that this "Bar" is being transformed into a pizza place - don't care which franchise/chain/version it will be - anything would be an improvement.
And, yes, before anyone asks, I have had a drink in Lineker's - BUT only once and would never cross it's threshold again!. We ordered a pint of Guinness and a Smirnoff Ice: the drinks were place on our table with the response - "Here's your drinks, Paddy", to which my other half answered "Thanks George". The barman answered "My name's not George" and the other half said "I'm not Paddy!!).
And yes, again before anyone asks, we're irish.
This is the 21st century - leave the jingoistic xenophobia at home! -Places like this need to be sent back to the dark ages (1966 would do).

lapenita, when did this happen in linekers because we have been in there many times and not come across this. we have always found the bar staff very friendly and welcoming and i know that irish lads have worked there.

please PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT consider Linekers Lanzarote in the same light as ANY other bar of the same name , be it Teneriffe, Gran Canaria or wherever. Linekers Lanzarote is not part of the same chain and is independently run as a family orientated sports bar with a zero tolerance to trouble, and is the longest established Brit bar I know of in PDC. If you have a problem with a particular waiter please take it up with the manager , I'm sure it will be dealt with. Ole
