Most emphatically not! The only change here recently has been the passing of a law that eating and drinking establishments which have more than 100 square meters must be non-smoking with a designated smoking area. Those that are smaller have the choice of being smoking or non-smoking, and the vast majority have opted for the former.

On 1t Jan they imposed a no smokin ban, most restaurants have banned it an some bars but all the good bars n clubs let u

Since Jan I have only come across 2 restaurants in Costa Teguise where there is an all out Ban - "Montmarte" (French!!!!) & "La Jordanna" (Spanish!!!!) - As a selective / considerate smoker these are now off my eating haunts!!!!!!

meg, you are entitled to your opinion that's fine but if people dont want to go into non smoking establishments might I suggest you go to Scotland for your holidays and take a bike there with you.

I think that might cover your posts but enjoy Lanzarote for it's charm and climate.
