I've seen lots of enquiries from Brits interested living and working in Lanzarote, but rarely about retiring there. Do you Ex-Pat regulars on the forum know if there is much of a retired UK community ?? We know quite a few people who have retired to mainland Spain but Lanzarote seems not to have the same appeal. This surprises us as we are big Lanza fans having been holidaying there for 18 years and heading for our first long-stay over the coming winter.

There are lots of us, and it's a fantastic place to retire, especially as we don't have to worry about earning a living here.

Walker - Thank You, that's just what I wanted to hear !!!!! We are not looking for the "High Life" but just a simple life enjoying the outdoors - 52 weeks a year !!
