Well, it seems that the bin men have returned to work and have been collecting some rubbish in Playa Blanca (they haven't reached everywhere yet).
They haven't been paid, so I can't blame them for going on strike, but it makes you wonder what the point is of having an ayuntamiento.
Yaiza seem to take plenty of taxes and give precious little in return.

I thought Yaiza council nearly went bust and hadn't paid social security payments for a couple of years under the last regime.

OH thats great news, hope they come to ours soon.
