Evening
Just a couple of questions. Due to go out in April and we are staying in montana roja area of playa blanca this time. We have previously stayed in Papagayo area and absolutely loved the beach there - luckily we were within walking distance. My question is - I understand you can get a water taxi from playa blanca to the papagayo beach. How long does it take and is it a bit rough on the waters? I know it is dependent on weather etc, but if someone could give me a rough idea. I can usually stand a boat for about 20 minutes so I wouldn't want to risk disgracing myself on the beach as I lurch (literally) off the taxi
Also we plan on visiting Costa Teguise for the day to go to the waterpark. Is it open beginning of April and does anyone know the price. We went a few years back, made our own way there from PDC instead of using an excursion. Any info much appreciated. Thanks

An alternative would be to get the bus which runs continuously around town to the far end near the Papagayo Arena hotel, and then walk as you did before.

yeah we will do that on odd days, but my son is quite taken with the idea of a water taxi and wants to try it. I don't really want to be a party pooper so thought I might give it a go?

I think it's about 15 or 20 minutes. It should be OK if you pick your day.

It takes about 20 to 25 minutes but stops at the Marina halfway. It's not in the least bit rough but you have to get into a smaller boat to get dropped/picked up on the beach.
