Ayup!

Just wondering if anyone knows of any pistol ranges near the Ficus Apartmentos that are available for holidaymakers to visit?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Anything else I should know about where we're staying at too? We're going on the 7th June for a fortnight.

The Ficus is OK.

Been there about four times now since 1997. It used to be more upmarket i.e dress for dinner, themed meals etc.

It's 3 star and cheap and cheerful.

The staff, especially the big guy at reception and the Canarian lass who is the Jefe at the bar, are nice folk and have worked here for years. Most of the staff speak English. The food and the drink is fine.

No need to save sunbeds, but the entertainment has deteriorated over the last 10 years.

Not heard of any shooting ranges either here or anywhere in the Canaries.(Except the Spanish Foreign Legion ranges near the airport at Fuerteventura.)

I am shooting regularly in Norway, and would indeed like to practise here as well (stay here roughly six months a year), but I have not bothered to go through the red tape....

And I have no knowledge of any pistol range available for foreigners....

I am sure the Police must have facilities somewhere, but hardly a place where holidaymakers would be welcomed...

there is a shooting range just on the outskirts of costa teguise in tahiche,(near the prison actually,quite apt!) it's on the golf course road,keep going past golf course,up the hill just before you get to the caesar manrique roundabout is a small turning on the right with a board with a picture of a man holding a rifle,cant remember the name of it but it's just down this road.or get a taxi prob only ten euro
