Hello guys,

The hubby, me and our 10 week old baby are staying in playa blanca for a week in november, and i wondered if anyone knows if if i can buy SMA powder milk anywhere?

Im not so fussed for which brand of nappies, but milk must be SMA, and since weight on luggage is very restricted, i would rather buy it when we arrive!

We have been to lanza before, but just not Playa Blanca!

Any help would be fabby!

Cheers in advance

Sorry... didn't see any this afternoon. Try talking to Kirsty or Georgie at http://www.canarianmum.com . I'm guessing they'd have a better idea than me. I don't know them personally, but stumbled across their site a couple of days ago. (Oh, and to anyone who knows me... no we're not planning on expanding our family size!)

Good luck!

Hi
I have just booked to go to Playa Blanca for a week. I will have 6 month old twins. Did you find you were able to buy milk and nappies easily? Did you use powdered milk or ready made milk? I usually have to make at least 12 feeds a day, so I want to know whether to bring a kettle or just get the ready made milk.
Hope toy have a nice holiday.
Regards
Vik

Twins? Oh bless you hon... you must really have your work cut out for you! You NEED a holiday lol. How old are your bundles of joy?

Nappies are definitely no problem. The Hiperdino in PB has plenty. Buy Dodots (spelling?) as they are apparently the same as Pampers, and a similar price too. I also spotted loads of baby food jars today (sorry, someone asked in another forum so I had a quick look this evening). I'll check the milk situation again though, as I know which aisle it's in lol. I'm sure I have seen powdered, but I'm unsure of the brand. I'd only make it up with bottled water though, obviously. I'll see if I can confirm it tomorrow...

Don't worry about bringing a kettle though. I may be able to send you in the direction of someone who can help. Where are you staying? A Hotel? Or a villa?

Speak soon... Elle xx

Sorry Vik. I didn't get down to the Hiperdino today - but I will try for you.
