We are visiting Playa Blanca for the first time, our baby daughter has a milk allergy do the supermarkets nearby stock soya based milk and yoghurts?

Yes Cooper. I'm sure I've seen them in the Hiperdino.

Head for the back of the store, and over to the left. It's all over there.

Good luck!

Hi You'll find soya milk and also oat milk products available virtually everywhere. Especially in Vivo the major supermarket by the airport which has a huge range of special dietry foods. For yoghurts, desserts etc. look for a range called "Soja" which is very good. I'm not sure what P. Blanca has to offer as far as special foods go, but you can easily stock up at a major supermarket.

If you need organic fruit and vegetables the fruiteria in Teguise is fantastic and you'll be able to get virtually everything there. Graciella and Paco the owners spend a huge amount of time sourcing good natural produce and although the shop is tiny it has just about everything. It's open sundays too when the market is on but only 08:45 until 14:00 during the week.

Have a good trip and don't worry, there's very little on the island you won't be able to find.
