Thank you. It happend in the past and, despite corrective medication, just might recur so better to be prepared.

Neither. But seriously considering relocating in October.
I need to know what medical facilities are avaiilable. It would be helpful to have a breakdown of services offered at local hospital in Arrecife.

As good as UK if not better I would say. But if not a pensioner, you need to pay into the Spanish system or have private medical insurance once your EHIC runs out. When EHIC stops covering you depends on your NI contributions in the UK so make sure they are up ro date.

I think you mean an E109. An EHIC only gives you emergency cover. An E109 gives you up to 30 moths of full care in the Spanish NHS - It's what we are on here. It's issued by the DWP.

That is msot reassuring. Thank you. We are both retirees, entitled to E121 forms which we are using now, here in Cyprus where presently living.

If you have E121, you'll slot straight into the system here and be treated as though you were Spanish retirees.
