Quick Q to everyone, what are you favourite summer songs? I'm looking for inspiration...

It's an old one but I like Summer Breeze by the Isley Brothers and also Summer Time (I think that's the title) Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince (or is it just Will Smith? I can't remember). Golden Brown by the Stranglers is another summery one and what about Travis - Flowers in the Window? How's that for starters?

We were driving up to Costa Teguise today - listening to the radio... and I was trying to think of my answers to your question. It's a real toughie! Mainly because I can't narrow it down lol.

Lola's Theme - absolutely with you on that one! On a similar theme... Cafe del Mar, and anything by DJ Tiesto gets me in the mood. Oh my god... and what about My My My by Armand van Helden?!

Good call with "My My My" and pretty much any Tiesto track. Isn't it funny how songs become "summer songs" just because of what they remind you of! I mean Lola's theme isn't particularly summery, but what a tune, and it gets me well in the mood!!
From our holiday last year Shakira's Hips Don't Lie was our song of the trip, so well looking forward to knowing what the big song will be from Lanzarote.
Any ideas for what this summer's big track will be? I'm thinking something by Calvin Harris!

Oh god yes... Gasolina, and Dale Don Dale!!!! reminds me of my two holidays in Turkey in 2005. Love that track. Don't know the Poppy Poppy wotsit though. I've tried looking in Google quickly, but couldn't find anything.

Hips don't lie is brilliant! The dog gets all upset when I try to dance to it at home though... although Hubby quite likes it lol.

You kind of lose track of what's hot on the music scene when you live here - and don't often go clubbing. Who's this Calvin Harris? I'll go and Google him, and see what I can downlaod. Cheers for the tips!

Calvin Harris is a DJ, I think, lol his song "Acceptable in the eighties" was quite big in the UK charts and on the clubscene about a month ago, although it is still in the charts now, the hype has died down a bit. And his new song "the girls" although a bit slow to start, is amazing, its on a t4 advertisement at the minute and i just love it. So i reckon he'll release something again in time for summer.
Gasolina is a tune, but unfortunately i don't know the other one you are looking for, where di you hear it last? try google-ing it, and keep trying, perserverance normally pays off! Also yahoo questions is normally a good source!
Tim Deluxe is apparently tipped to be big this summer as well...

I'm enjoying Arman Van Helden at mo NYC Beat, favourite summer track has to be 'Summer time'.
I am curretnly listening to the big hits out in lanz last summer on my ipod Lanz playlist.

Hey everyone again.....Yea I so love that song lift your leg up it reminds me on 928 too lol.......I love Culo too reminds me on paradise....Another song i love would be sean pauls Get Busy......x

Papi chulo is a tune! But how old is that song? i heard it in France a good 2/3 years ago! I just downloaded it, brought back great memories!!
NYC Beat is taking a while to work its magic on me, but Its getting there.

I love lanzarote....My Ipod is lanzarote playlist only.....Yea papi chulo is so old but you can never get sick of it lol.....Lanz is my second home and will be permently next year lol..............xx

My playlist consists of the songs i heard last year including papi chulo, black eye peas pump it, Shakira hips don't lie, sean paul temperature & get busy there are loads to list and i don't have my ipod with me at mo lol We should start a list of Lanzarote songs to make a huge playlist for us all!
