Hi Danielle,

I stayed at the Sun Royal last year - the only reason that I caught your post was that I was thinking of going back!

It depends on your circumstances - do you have kids? If so it's pretty good - but the main pools are deep, although there are kiddie paddlers.

Are you a teenager? - if so it won't suit you.

Anyway, the apartments are fastidiously cleaned - every day I think. There's a bit of a dander into the resort centre or the marina (the taxis are cheap and very clean also). There's no air conditioning - but I think the Lanzarote breeze sometimes makes up for that.

The snack food wasn't great quality - the kid loved it, my missus didn't - it kept me ticking over.

I didn't try the restaurant, but I met with a friendly Spanish family from Madrid who were doing "all in". They seemed very happy.

In reality it's in sync with the rest of the resort - no "boom boom" stuff. Very family orientated. *Very* clean. Very friendly. If you see Gloria in the shop, tell her "Tengo una resaca!" She'll wet herself!

Entertainment basic.

Drop me a line if you need more details.
Best,
Noel

hi noel, thankyou for replying, im guessing the sun royal is simular to sun tropical which is where i stayed last year it was very family orientated but that didnt bother me too much i can cope with kids but off your reply it sounds like a decent hotel and the distance cant be much further than the walk from sun tropical, and if your thinking of going back all in all cant be too bad.If i see gloria ill remember that thanks haha.
thanks again for the reply
kind regards danielle.
p.s im 18.
