My family and I will be arriving in Lanzarote next Saturday night. Will be traveling with our little baby so will need to stock up on nappies etc on arrival. Can anyone tell me if there are any supermarkets in or around Playa Blanca that are open on sundays?

Most of them are, - SPAR opens at 0800 hrs and closes at 1400 hrs on Sundays......

AS Zocoloco say most are open. The Hiperdino at Los Colorados is open 8.00 - 22.00.

God forbid there are any delays but just in case I would bring enough stuff for the baby with you to see you through the first day or two.

The big Hiperdino across from the bus station is open but for some reason the car park is closed.

Sorry, I am also looking to find out which supermarkets are open in PB as I land on a Sunday (at about 12ish)

Is the Hiperdino at Los Colorades the shopping centre near the Marina Rubicon - as you turn right to go down to the marina it's on your left? and do they shut for siesta? sorry, never landed on a Sunday before and normally much more prepared than this!

Thanks for all your replies. Good to hear there are a few options. Have manged to pack enough supplies to last us until monday in case of delays.

Just hoping for an answer on Sunday opening of Hiperdino in Playa Blanca. Arrived last year and merrily drove off to the big Hyperdino (with the car park underneath) only to find it closed.

Have looked on their website but couldn't fathom out any Sunday opening details.

Hoping someone here will know.

Ribicon one open till 10pm and other till 3.30pm according to their website.

Spar is open on Sundays too, one by the ferry port closes 2pm til 4pm
