Nothing like Asda I'm afraid... but we do have Hiperdino.
As you come from the port, down the dual carriageway... there's a turning on the right. Go down there, and take the first left - this takes you into the underground car park for Hiperdino. It's where many of us here do our shiopping, if we're not heading up the Island to Ropers.

And it's pretty decently priced, too!

Loz... you coming out from PdC or CT hon? I'd then recommend you headed to Playa Honda which is nearer for you. Go have a nosey at Ropers, and Hiperdino... which are on the opposite side of the dual carriageway to the Deiland. I'm not sure that the Hiperdino down here has enough bargains to justify the trip. Not that I'm saying avoid PB - just let us know when you're coming so we can hide away! Yes, Zabadak - it's not bad is it? The Spar at Punta Limones isn't bad for last minute goodies too (Alan's off up there now as we speak... for munchies and vino). We find the Netto in the pedestrianised area quite pricey though, so we don't bother going there if we can help it. Mark - you should be fine. If you are on foot, rather than a car... then do yell... and we'll give you walking directions hon Elle xx

Elle xx Hiyah Elle, What would it cost roughly to Hyperdino from Sun beach apartments in a taxi. Thanks Steve

Probably just a couple of Euros Steveyermate (I think I met you briefly in Wax Bar on your last visit).
I reckon it would take about 10/15 minutes to walk it. Come out of Sun Beach onto the road to Femes. Turn left.... and go straight over the first roundabout you get to. Then you'll see the bus station on the right. It's just past there on the opposite side of the road. You can't miss it, as it has large pictures of fruit & veg in the windows. Depending on how heavy your shopping is... you could walk it easily.

Elle xx Elle, Yeah we did meet in wax but did not think you would remember as you must meet thousands of holiday makers every year, anyway thanks very much for the info as we are coming back at the end of may and would like to do a big shop or two for the essentials, can you tell me where there is a good indian restaraunt in PB as we love curry's, we went to spice's twice in novemeber and was disappointed as the food was barely warm both times. Thanks Steve.

Hi Steve. I remembered meeting you, your wife, and the couple you were with... but that's because I remembered your username. If I passed you in the street I probably wouldn't recognise you again. Sorry hon! Keith's Recommendation is a good one! It's the only place we use. Coming from the Town Cantre, towards the port... head into the pedestrianised area. There's a small side street on the right - either one or two down from Spar. Kanu's place is down there. Try their prawn puri starters... they're superb! The jalfrezi and the lamb curry are really good too. Enjoy! Elle xx
