Taxi from the airport

Having not booked the transfers can anyone tell me approx. cost of a taxi from the Airport to Playa Blanca?

probably €30-€35 for up to 4 people.

I always hire a car from the airport and drop it back there too.

According to this site it's €45, which means you can hire a car for a week for around about the same as the return taxi journey :-

Taxi from airport to Alantic gardens, Playa blanca last year was around 43 euros, but booked a mimibus from hotel was 37 euros.

Speaking of car hire, would approx. €100 per week be the standard price for a basic three-door run-around?

I just back from Lanza and paid 120 euro at Cabrera Medina along from big Spar in Pocillos area of PDC for 7 days. They were only giving me a Corsa but haggled and got Astra. Priced it in all rental shops from Matagorda till there and they were the cheapest. Left it at the airport. Great. If anyone knows of anywhere cheaper tho' I'd appreciate that for next time. Really miss the Lanza petrol prices now that I'm back in UK

I usually use Autoreisen http://www.arcarhire.com/car-hire/car-hire.php

They have a desk in the arrival hall and I pick up the keys while wife and wean pick up the cases, then straight out to the car park.

second Autoreisen. Cost of fortnights hire is not much more than cost of taxi each way and hiring car for a few days.

We were looking for a zafira for 18 days at xmas, Autoreisen quoting 1200 euros,, got it off carbera medina for 700 euros for 3 weeks,, bit of a big difference!!

I had a SEAT Ibiza for 3 weeks, 248e in the summer from autoreisen. I suppose it depends what your looking for.

Peak weeks,, they can charge what they like,, but 1200 euros is ridiculous! There are 6 of us hence the zafira,, 2 cars would be cheaper but too much messing tryin to park!

It is only about 10 euros from the airport to Costa Teguise

hi, a taxi from the airport to playa blanca is between 43 and 50 euro depend witch hotel, to costa teguise 20 to 25 euro.
the queues on thusday and sundays are very long up to 90 min time to wait when you not leave at the first the arriving hall. at middays and afternoons are coming 5 flights together about 2000 people and about 400 haven´t booked a transfer and want to go with a taxi, the problem is there are only more or less 50 taxis.

there are a lot of companys where you can book transfers whats much easyer for exemple
a2btransfers.com, transfers4you.eu, resorthoppa.com and a lot more and the the prices are very similar.
