Please don't laugh - one of my family coming on holiday next week needs to have tinned grapefruit with muesli for breakfast - not milk - for health reasons. OK you may think, just go to the local supermarket and buy it BUT when we went to Tenerife in November we could not find tinned grapefruit in any of the supermarkets there and we tried several different ones, big and small. We could get endless supplies of pineapple, peaches and pears, and that's it!

Does anyone know of a supermarket in Costa Teguise that sells tinned grapefruit, or will I have to bring it with me (groan- the weight).

I would be very grateful for any help.

I haven't seen it in any of the bigger supermarkets across here, as you say pineapple etc. Now if he wanted grapefruit juice or grapefruits then they are in abundance.

Can he use fresh grapefruit - they are readily available - probably why you can't get tinned.

Tinned grapefruit should be available, just look for pomelo.
If not standard and pink grapefruit (fresh) are readilly available.

because it should be doesn't mean it will be. Looked in hiperdino in Tias today and they didn't have any.
