Hi to all Lanza fans !!

Coming out in 2 weeks....anyone know if Tiny`s bar will be open. We have heard that Steve has had to return to the UK several times and the bar had been closed a few times. Just hope the bar will be open when we get there....Steve is the nicest guy on the island and it wont be the same if he aint there. This will be our 15th visit in 6 years....guess we like the place but the icing on the cake is Tiny`s...

You mean the tiny bar where you are met with insults?
Big guy from London, hates us northerners?
Nasty piece of work!!!!

I enjoy every visit to his bar! :P 8) 8) 8)

I took my friend to Lanza for his first ever visit, introduced him to Steve, scarred him for life! But he wants to go back. :?

Was hoping to visit Lanza again in November but stuck in the Philippines, give my best to tiny, tell him i'm the idiot from Rotherham! I hope he will remember me.

Think I met you last time we were there....I was a truck driver from just outside Brum...not quite as northern as you lol
Been a few months since we were there due to family bereavement so we are really looking forward to this trip. Will pass on to Steve your best wishes...just hope he is open. My daughter was there a few months ago and he was closed. I am sure I have a photo of you somewhere. . . .one typical night in Tiny`s lol. Anyways..thanks for replying...hope we meet up again whenever...in the one and only TINY`S BAR.

take care mate

ps. was a truck driver...now retired lol

Obviously you have no sense of humour lapenita, steve is great and we enjoy his banter as do many others which is why he is one of the most popular bars with locals and regular visitors.

Unfortunately based on past posts............Lapenita doesn't have a sense of humour nor does he get irony

I thought that the whole point of a Forum was to post opinions - obviously not. This is just an old boys club - same people, same thoughts, same opinions - clapping each other's businesses on the back - what a waste of an opportunity to promote a wonderful island - ironic or what!!

Lapenita seems to be confused! If the place is not for him then fine, but really no need to be quite so insulting and personal when giving his 'opinion', not seeing much in the way of promoting the Island in his posts at all.

Lapenita....just for your info....I do not own a business in Lanzarote and I do not know any of the people who have kindly taken the time to reply to my original query as regards to Tiny`s Bar being open or not. I did not recommend that anyone should go there or, conversely, avoid the place. I just expressed my own opinion.
In order to avoid any further confusion, may I suggest you pay a visit to the bar and ask the owner why he is "sarcastic and patronising" I am sure he would gladly explain.
There is one thing that does puzzle me though...why mention the small toilets ?? Do they compromise you having a good night out?
In general, toilets are a space of waste in my opinion and not worth mentioning unless you belong to a group who appreciate roomy kharzis!

Don't know about Christmas but I came back from Lanza last Thursday and the bar hadn't been open the fortnight I was there
