This is a good video of the quieter parts of Lanzarote. I can especially recommend it if your experience to date is just the big resorts.

Cheers John. This is why I love Lanzarote. Within a few miles you can go from a busy resort to a deserted beach, cove or a very quiet village.

Looks great, but how do you watch this without it pausing every few seconds.

I expect you've got a slowish connection. Try viewing it not in HD by clicking on the Blue "HD" at bottom right, which will then grey out..

Nice video, we have told so many people that the real lanzarote is outside the resorts, but many people can't stray outside the Irish pub ! Isla Graciosa, el golfo, the east coast to arrieta , the wine region - la geria, el grifo, stratvs, the cliffs at famara . . Will I go on ? The views from femes toward playa blanca , a concert in los cueves de los verdes , the water taxi from puerto calero, tapas in sta Barbara in Teguise, even skinny dipping in papagayo or charco del palo ! Get out there and see what the island has to offer. You won't be disappointed. :D
