Hi folks,

i'm new to all this so bear with me. My Wife, 3 kids (15,13,11) and myself arrive in PDC on the 4th August. We are renting a villa on Avienda Francia, Is there a supermarket nearby where we can get essentials, e.g. bread, milk cereals?

Many THanks,
G

There is a large Spar supermarket at the bottom of Avenida Italia, it stocks most things and has a fresh meat/deli counter too. It is on the main avenida, you cant miss it. We always use it when we come over.

You are actually in a great position i think, 10-15 mins will get you right in the middle of the strip at the new end, Los Pocillos and Matagorda are within walking distance from where you are staying and if you fancy a look around the Old town, just jump on the bus over the road from the San Antonio Hotel it will take you right to the harbour. Taxis are cheap round about 4 euros to come back. :) :)
