Hey there,

I'll be traveling to lanzarote by myself for a few days in April. Pretty clueless about what town to stay in. I'd love to visit volcanic/interesting landscapes but also spend a day by the pool. Nightlife is a plus. Should I book a hotel then excursions or are there hotels that provide their own excursions? Traveling on a tight budget so i was also considering just renting a car and getting lost.

Also I'll be coming from Gran Canaria so any advice on getting between the islands would be helpful.

Thanks!!

http://www.bintercanarias.com for flights from Gran Canaria.

Try any major search sites for apartments in Lanzarote, http://www.alpharooms.com etc, they will normally be cheaper than a hotel.

Nightlife is probably liveliest in Puerto del Carmen.

Finally last minute travel operate a Gran Tour of Lanza at a reasonable price.

There is an hydrofoil service that runs from GC to Fuerteventura /Morro Jable. Then ferry from Corralejo to Playa Blanca. Cheapest option.
