Is there a reason? Has somthing changed? We are over in 10 days and planned to spend one of our groups childrens birthdays there. We went last year and the only real issue was that they would not let the kids wear the special water t-shirts and hence had to put sun cream on them every 5 minutes!

I'd definitely say its a day out for the children, but as I havent got children thats why I wouldnt go again. I went the once with friends who have children, but the children were very young and to be honest there's no much cover when you're there so you really do have to keep an eye on the little ones.

I had a day there last year with my kids and they loved it.
Took them back yesterday (they insisted) with 2 friends and they loved it again.
Under 12's are 16.50. Adults 22.00 and sunloungers 2.50.
There is not much shade and it is very easy to burn. There are some sunloungers to the right that have full shade. I would suggest those and just get the sun when in the water.
I would also suggest taking a packed lunch and plenty of water.
They also do a skincare/suncream promotin each day. From what I think they offer it did not sound like a good deal. Seemed like a cream for 40€ that you can buy in PB for 10€?

Thanks for the responses everyone feel a bit better about going now. As long as kids gonna have a gud time thats all that matters. Just heard it was a bit dirty and staff were rude.

I really wouldnt waste your time and money going to the waterpark.
I love visiting waterparks on my hols and i have been to this one about 3 times. I went to Lanzarote in May and didnt bother going. Last time i went was last sept i spent most of the time sunbathing as the slides got a bit boring.
There are only about 3 slides that are any good and the eating area isnt the best.
Id spend your money on something else, as after paying the entrance fee, locker fee, food and drinks etc its quite an expensive day out.
The best thing about the waterpark is the sun tan that you get!
Sorry if this isnt what you want to hear.

Robert As i said i have been a few times, and i think that i hoped that there would be some improvement in the slides. But there werent.
In fact there is a slide there that you stop on and have to push yourself to the end!!!
I only had to pay for myself and i was just giving some advice as if you are paying for a group of people its is quite expensive and i didnt want them to be disappointed.

I wouldnt bother with the one on Lanzarote , if you have abit extra cash i would go to the one in Fuerteventura and make a day of seeing the other island

We spent the day there for our friends daughters birthday. All the kids loved it and would have stayed longer if they could. There are not a great deal of slides which would excite a water park enthusiate, but we all had a great time. We got a bus direct from PDC to the park for 3 euros each return which we thought was good.
