What is Exchange rate in PDC?

Coming over in 2 weeks (Cant wait). I am looking at changing £500 into Euro's for 1st few days and then bringing the rest in sterling to change when in PDC.

Is the rate good in resort? its 1.12 here at the moment. I unfortunatley do not have a Nationwide account else I would have done it that way.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

It changes all the time, so no-one can say what it will be in two weeks. 500 pounds at 1.12 is €560 or €565 at 1.13 so not much in it. But if you keep some back to change if needed, you will probably spend less so save more that way!

They do take credit cards too over there! I know you said you haven't got a nationwide account - but you may just have time to get say a post office credit card if you apply now.

I wouldn't feel happy carrying all that cash around with me!!

Hi all,

I'm coming to PDC on Thursday 3rd Sept,
Does anyone know the LOCAL exchange rate today please?

Over here in the UK its dropped to €1.10/£.
Only last week it was €1.14 in the UK, but I guess somethign happened and all the rates have dropped.

Not a huge drop, but €40 lost on a £1000, the cost of a meal.

Also if anyone knows of anywhere in PDC offering good rates I'd very much appreciate it,

That is in the Indian shops, the banks will charge you commission on top.

The rate is balls in the UK. this time last year for £800 I got 1000 euro, this time I got only got 880 euro for my £800. load a Sh*#e at the minute :evil:
