hi,
can anyone help me find a hotel or apartment that would be suitable for my wheelchairbound wife. Have looked over the net but not much info. prefferebly all inclusive would appreciate any help.

try occidental oasis, 4 star & have read good & bad reviews, havent stayed there, had a look at it when we stayed nearby & it looked ok, its on the outskirts of the town centre but bus & taxi rank outside hotel, swimming pool & restaurants on ground level but you would struggle getting to the small rocky beach at the back of the hotel.

There is a problem there to get to the lower ground floor but other than the welcome meetings there should not be a reason to go down there, I don´t think. Just let any hotel you book know the situation so that they can make sure you can access everything. I would certainly call them just to double check. Some have entertainment at lower level with no lift.

hi dph we just came back from the barcelo la galea its got the ramps etc for wheelchairs and the all inc bar is right next to the pool also daytime snacks,the night entertainment is down stairs but they do have a lift,it seemed to be very wheelchair friendly there,however the maids start work at 8am so a lie in is out of the question,i would email them or phone them to requeat a ground floor apt,im sure they would be very happy to help,the staff are eng speaking and are very helpfull.i hope this helps.
