Hey guys

I usually stay in rocas blancas but fancying a change so can't decide between plaza palmeras, elena, playa Szilard, princess ico, club oceano, Columbus, or arena dorada, any recommendations? Pro's and con's?

Help guys these are all ones I found on travel republic and can't find any of them cheaper anywhere else but if anyone knows any cheaper sites or email addresses to book direct let me know

I'd suggest the Elena if you like the Rocas and the area as they're just behind the Rocas !

I've stayed in plaza palmeras, elena, princess ico, club oceano.

By far the best is Club Oceano, by far the worst was the Elena, although it was quite a few years ago. Plaza Palmeras were fine but at the top of a hill, Princesa Ico were fine too and belong to the same company as Club Oceano but are very small, although are also very reasonable.

You should consider Costa Luz too, they are right on the beach and are easily the best apartments I've stayed in in PDC.

Elena are rated highly on TA reviews & by TA members in general.........

The Elena are the only apartments in Lanzarote that I've ever complained about. But, like I said, it was a long time ago and they may be completely different now.

Stayed in costa luz before and yes ur right they are amazing but not in my budget this time I'm afraid plus bit of a walk in the heels lol!
My post meant to sat plaza azul not whatever stupid word came up last time! Using my phone u see!

I've stayed in Plaza Azul too, decent but clean and basic apartments. The bar is good. They are right across the road from the Plaza Palmeras so they're up the same hill. You're right in the middle of the resort though once you're down the hill.

ye i know where all the apartments are that i mentioned and thats why i mentioned them cause they all close to centre. like i say we usually stay in rocas blancas but fancy a change cause u can get just as good if not better than them for cheaper. i love rocas but i think u are paying extra for the location to be honest.

What dates are u staying at rocas? Yes some of the ones I mentioned are around 30 quid cheaper each person than rocas. U will love rocas we just fancied a change tho.

Yeah we've stayed in Rocas the last 2 times we've been and the location is just the best really!...i've stayed in the Jable 2 or 3 times and Arena Dorada a couple of times too.

We go 3 weeks tomorrow pink on April 22nd can't wait! I ended up booking the Columbus as they look awesome! I will stay in rocas again but fancy wee change this time! Still go visit the bar staff every day tho cause we have good laugh with them!

Oooohh not long to go so for ye Kaz, ye going for one week or 2?
I'm actually going to Sicily aswell April 20th just for 4 nights so looking forward to that too!
Where are the Columbus?

We just going for a week cause we go 4 times a year. Colmbus are u know where paradise is and the street that goes up side of it? There is a bar called spenders just a wee bit up the hill? Well Columbus are just in behind spenders they look over paradise roof so we still dead close and we are 30 quid each cheaper than we are at rocas. Check columbus website out u will be amazed at how smart they are!!!

Yep I know Paradise alright, sure they are in an ideal location too so
I had a quick look at their website and they look fab too! You'll have to have to let us know how ye find them, maybe stay there next time then!!
