Thinking about going to Puerto del Carmen in April. Looking at villas in Los Mojones (Casa Jade) or on Avenida Francia (Casa Megan). Any advice about which is the better area to stay in. We're not planning on hiring a car.

In my humble opinion Avenida Francia is the better option near enough to everthing be it PDC, Los Pocillos and or Matagorda, but nice and peaceful too. Stayed on Francia last September, and staying very near there in June.. Am sure there will be others who prefer Los Mojones, i find it a bit too far away from everything myself . Hope you enjoy whichever you choose.

Another vote for Avenida Francia, far better placed I think to enjoy PDC, Los Poc & Matagorda. I find Los Mojones a little isolated, although some of the villas are beautiful

We're staying very close to Francia in a few months in a private villa again.

Another vote for Francia, easy walk on the flat to all locations!! Also some great restaurants an bars at this end of the strip if you don't want to veture too far.

francia from me to ,stopped there last march stopping grecia this april and as tapper says this end of the strip great eats and drinks to be had,also the supermarket at the bottom of italia good fresh meat selection,cheese and fresh baked loaves.
