We dont have as many bank hols as most other European countries so we think its time this was addressed. The results of the poll will be sent to Mr Blair (befrore he goes on his very long holiday!!). whast are you now some kind of politician/ union member? everyone knows the difference in bank holidays, for heavens sake they don't even celebrate St Georges Day.

Foreign countries like Spain celebrate saint days thus they have more.

While your idea might sound good, do you not think UNIONS have never tried to force the issue before?

By the way today is a Bank Holiday (fiesta) in Lanzarote, why is it GB always have their BH's on a Monday? here it is on the day it falls and tough luck if it's a weekend.
