Hi just arrived back - well early hours of this morning, after a nightmare return flight with aer lingus. Anyway we had a fantastic holiday over the xmas and new year and I would like to thank everyone for the help in regards to car hire etc. A few recommendations, we stayed at the Lago Verde apartments in PDC old town, excellent view from the balcony, lounge and bedroom. A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere on the complex, especially in Bernies bar by the pool, a lovely guy, do pop in if you are in the area, he has some great stories to give you a laugh! Also serves good food. There is also Emmas Canteen a mexican restaurant (the head chef is mexican), had a lovely meal there, the host Mike was great, along Calle Teide. Then there's Casa Siam a thai restaurant along the strip opposite the Hawaiin bar about a quarter of a mile past the casino, had a beautiful meal there.
Shame we are now back in this snow!!!
