Was swimming in the sea last year on boxing day. It can be a bit unpredictable but even if it rains part of the day you will usually see some sunshine. Temps are aound 19 at night and 24+ in the day. Wind is another factor that can make it feel cooler. Last night we had a bit of rain in Playa Blanca and now is blue sky and 25 gentle breeze. Very nice.

At this time of year, the weather is almost as unpredictable as in UK, so anyone saying it won't rain is guessing. It won't snow, it won't be colder than about 15 degrees at night, and it will probably be between 20 and 25 degrees during the day, cooling to cardigans for ladies in the evenings. There may be a storm, it might be flat calm. The sun will probably shine most days, but there could be complete cloud cover some days. Unless something really odd happens, it will be much much better than UK, and will be very similar to the weather in Gran Canaria
