North Tour
This tour is a combination of yet more of Cesar Manrique's outstanding work, protected natural spaces, hills and valleys, agricultural terraces, palm trees and stunning, panoramic views.
The tour begins by heading for the "Malpais de Monte Corona" in the north-east, the setting for two of the island's most important and emblematic attractions: - The Green Caves and the Jameos Del Agua, both part of a lava tunnel that stretches out to the coast and continues under the sea. Then the tour continues up to the Mirador del Rio, a panoramic viewpoint set in the cliffs of Famara overlooking the Chinijo islands. We make our way back through Haria, the valley of the thousand palms.
Note: Flat shoes are recommended for the Green Caves.
