Not sure about the exchange rate - maybe others can advise on this.

The supermarkets are mostly the same, so SPAR is probably as good as any of the others.

You can check the weather here: http://www.holiday-weather.com/lanzarote/averages/

And safely assume it'll be breezy in the evenings, so bring a light cardigan.

Enjoy!

Don’t know where you are staying but do you mean the Spar at CC Montana Tropical up the steps/hill behind the western end of the harbour? If so there is a Hyperdino not far away in Calle Reina Sofia and a smaller supermarket opposite (used to be Maxcoop). Walk eastwards along Calle Toscan from the Spar and at the end turn left up a few yards to the roundabout and down again first right – Near Purple Turtle. Don’t recognise the other names you gave

I don’t bother changing money over there now – it might be a cent or two better in the Indian booze shops but usually an argument about the rate displayed and the rate they end up giving. I change enough money here before I go to get through the first couple of days and I take a pre-paid currency card that I have loaded with euros at home and then take money with it from the ATMs every few days – this works out cheaper for me than using by usual bank debit card to draw out money and avoids having the worry of too much cash on me.

Can’t comment on the September weather as never been in August or September but my guess is it will be wonderful!!

Enjoy your trip
