Hi
Normally it rains very little here......maybe less than 15 days a year......up till recently we had suffered a 17 month drought with no rain at all......if it does rain it is usually only for an hour or so then it brightens up again....so not really a driest spot.....would say though that the south of the island tends to be a little bit sunnier than the north and slightly less windy.......also a lot flatter around the Playa Blanca área than the other resorts definitely with more cycle paths than the other two,but Costa Teguise comes a close second.

If you look at the official records, Playa Blanca is by far the driest resort on Lanzarote, because it is at the southern tip, and the winds normally come from the North, but none of them get much rain, because the island is relatively low lying, and the clouds pass straight over. The western isles are much more mountainous and so are wetter.
