Didn't get chance to say goodbye to Steve & Sue on Tuesday when we came in for drinks and food in the afternoon on Tuesday so I'm glad this thread is here! :)

We were both gutted that we were only there for 3 nights, but we had a lovely anniversary and we're so glad we found the bar and will definitely be coming back with the children next year! I've already been onto a guy today about an apartment lol! The food was delish and I still can't get over the drinks prices compared to some places!

Missing the sun and scrummy cocktails already...Ah well, 385ish days to go

Thanks to you both, plus thanks to the lovely bar staff and the fabs chefs.

Steve & Shell x :D

Have to agree, we had a good few beers in Friends, the welcome and service remain as big as ever

Their Sunday lunches (having never eaten them anywhere on holiday before) remain a must do for us on every holiday in PDC

Thanks Steve, Sue and team

Happy Holidays
Danny

Was there in September, and went on both Sundays for lunch, excellent.
Also made to feel welcome which is a bonus.

Hi Nic, steve from friends here. Sorry to hear of your bad day. Don't worry about your no show it's perfectly understandable.

Steve don't know if you remember us, we were in Lanzarote last year in the first week of Novemenr and the year before we came in December with our grandaughter. We are arriving on 3rd Novemebr this year staying again at La Penita.

This year we have a party of 9 friends who will be arriving on Sunday 30th staying at the Beach villa. What we want to know is how do we go about booking a table for Sunday lunch for 3.00pm on 6th November for 11 people all adults.

Theirpm flight home is 8.00 and they want to go out with a bang.

On a secondary point this will be our third visit to Lanzarote always staying at La Penita which I would recommend to everyone. Book direct with them for a better price and a room of your choice.

Roll on the 3rd.

Does any one have a phone number for Friends as I need to confirm the above booking.

Hi frankandpearl, you could always email Friends Bar at www.friendsbarlanzarote.com. I had a query earlier in the year and the reply was very prompt indeed. May be easier for you than phoning.

Nic.

Aren't you best going to the bar and booking a table when you get over there?

You are more than welcome FrankandPearl!

The other half concurs with the steak baguette - nothing seems to live up to it for him!
