Hello everyone, I need some advise from you. We are going to Playa Blanca for 11 nights on 4th of January and I am looking for some affordable accommodation near my brother-in-law's place downtown (he lives there).

I have never been there before and I am not familiar with what is a good price for hotels, but I found a room in Caybeach Hotel for £47 a night for 2 people and was wondering if that is a good price or should I wait and keep looking?

Would really appreciate your reply,
Thank you

Depends on what board option. If you're just looking for a place to stay there are much better and cheaper options.

Yes, that's all we need, only condition is that should be close to downtown, can you please be more detailed about where I could find better deals?

What's downtown, is it a bar? I don't know exactly where it is.

Hi, we want to stay somewhere in walking distance from Avenue Papagayo 35, Playa Blanca, where our family owns a bar. I guess half a mile or so radius is what I think is close enough. Can anyone tell me if £47 is ok for a hotel room, just the room, no extras? Thank you

I thought you meant downtown was the name of a bar or a nightclub or something. I know that sports bar, walked by it many a time. If you search on holidaylettings or owners direct I'm sure you would get better than a hotel room for £47 a night, I paid £50 a night for Las Brisas a year ago and that was a semi detached villa. There are a couple of flats in the town too that come up in searches.

However, if it's a hotel room you want £47 seems about the going rate.
