I've just moved to puerto calero and desperately seeking work.
I have a range of skills that I bring to the island.
I have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others. I have used customer service when working in both sales and administration.
My employment history contains jobs such as; sales assistant for retail stores and library work, where I have gained an insight to administration.
Whilst working in this environment, I was lucky enough to get some experience working with children, participating in sing along's and story time activities.
I have good IT skills, which include the running of Microsoft Office programs and Internet Explorer. Excellent standard of English, fluient in both written and spoken. I am also in the process of learning Spanish.
I hold 8 GCSE's and 3 AS Levels.
I am looking for any type of work, this includes bar work, childcare, administration, sales....anything!
I am keen to learn new skills and want to progress within a company or between roles. Reliable with an excellent record of attendance and punctuality. I am able to travel.
If you think I'm up for the job then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sorry mate but it´s going to be tough.
Unless you can find a basically english orientated business, you will need to get your Spanish very quickly to a decent level.
I worked in a few bars where Spanish was definately required, but even the Spanish fell victim to the recession. Good luck, just take anything that is offered, prove yourself and then things may get better.

Yep, I lived there for 2 years, it´s not easy, but it can work.
Good luck.
Not sure how you got the interviews before arriving on the Island, normally it´s how they see you when you arrive to ask for jobs.

I was on the island when offered the interviews and got them through applying for jobs on the gazette.
Thanks for the luck. I need it.
