Agree with you Robert - quite a buzz around.

We were there for 4 nights last week and got our NIE number and bank account sorted, so progress on the admin front.

Unfortunately our Villa purchase has somewhat complicated - planning problems! Our dream is still possible, but could now be months away rather than weeks.

Hope it stays busy :)

VERY BUSY !!
I really cant see why you are ecstatic thats its really busy, waiting 20 minutes to get into a restraunt queueing were ever you go, more traffic on the roads, hour wait to pick up hire car ,,, might as well stay in England !
Lanzarote was so much nicer 3 or so years ago, just enough people about without the noise of over exited british holiday makers who are now put of going to Tunisia or Egypt !!
looking forward to the abuse im going to get :) :)

Because a few years ago when it was like a ghost town there were restaurants and bars closing right left and centre. And since Lanzarote is my favourite holiday destination I'd like to see the economy doing well so that there are still things to do and see when I visit.

PS, I got my hire car in less than 10 minutes and didn't queue once for a restaurant ;)

I'd never wait any time to get into a restaurant....would either just walk into somewhere else or book for a different night.

Your missing the point, the idea of nice relaxing holiday away from the UK norm of pre booking a table is about being able to be Spontaneous and have to pre book were you would like to eat ! :D 8)

Am with you KT...quieter the better for me!!

I always find it odd that people want somewhere to be busy I assume to reassure them that they have made the right choice!

I don't need any reassurance to eat in a restaurant. I rarely book which is the point I was making that there are plenty of places to walk into without waiting.

Local economy needs people there or places would simply shut!
