Hi

We are going to Playa Blanca with our 2 year old who is coeliac, can anyone recommend any restaurants/cafés that cater for this please? Also do you know what ice cream is gluten free?

Hi there.
I am coeliac and mostly use my own discretion ordering in restaurants, but you could print off a Spanish language eating out card to present to the waiter. Most ice-creams are gluten free and the ones in the supermarkets are well labelled with the gluten free sign and "sin gluten" on them.
Good food selection in eurospar and mercadona shops.

Hi
Quote´´Good food selection in eurospar and mercadona shops.¨¨ unquote from previous post...........you will have to go a long way to find a Mercadona here..........the first is due to open in the autumn of this year in Arrecife......next nearest is Fuerteventura until then :(
However most Hiperdino and Superdino supermarkets have a selection of gluten-free products
