But, they're not illegal in the UK for personal use. only Illegal to sell them, which I am not doing...

I assume you don't know your laws on this subject.

After spending 24 years in the Emergency Services in the UK then I do know the law(probably better than you :x ) .....certain steroids are legal in small amounts for personal use there ...but not all !!!! and IF in possession of over a certain amount then you will be treated as a dealer even if it is only for your use  ....and over here they are just illegal FULL STOP( since 2013 when they became highly regulated  )......unless as mentioned you are in possession of a doctors prescription for their use !!!
Also if you do not want the advice or consider yourself more knowledgeable......THEN WHY ASK :?: :?: 8)

What I was disagreeing with is your statement as follows

As illegal as they are in the UK  ......get caught face jail then deportation

Because they are a class c drug here and you are ok if they are for personal use, so you wouldn't face jail time as you stated!

Was not referring to the UK( only in the first bit ) .. after that you asked about here...so answered you honestly.....you would be guilty of illegally smuggling controlled substances ....so jail time HERE( unless you can be deported from the UK ??)..... end of !!

I have just noticed ed the question regarding steroids. ..as I have a serious lung problem,I always bring a 7 day supply of Prednisolone along with the antibiotic bymicin with me when I go on holidays...along with my steroid inhalers ...will this be a problem?
Naturally they are all prescription drugs, with my name on the containers.?

Hi
No problem as long as they are in their original packaging, and just in case you bring a copy of your UK docs prescription with you....properly prescribed medications are allowed ...it is just ´´recreational´´ use that is frowned upon. :D

My better half brought Oromorph through a couple of years ago. Nobody even gave it a second look or even asked to see the covering Doctors letter which cost over £30 + to get. It was the same going back.

No doubt if we hadn't paid for the Doctors covering letter, we would have got pulled ?
