it is quite possible that LV has no accomodation left that he looks after hence no discounts. We all know Christmas and New Year is the busiest period and that people book the following year straight away.

However in todays climate I would go along with Foodie and suggest you do look for discounts. Have you tried the normal sites like alpharooms owners direct etc to see what gets thrown up?

For 3 of us to go for a week the cost was a grand.
I emailed saying we would pay £800 cash via bank transfer the next day if they agreed to the discount. ie. no credit card fees. They said £875.

What does a skiing holiday have to do with renting a villa in Lanzarote at Christmas? All decent villas in Lanzarote will be booked at full price. Try getting one for less.

Really? Do let us all know what discount you got for your flights on the advertised price.

Try looking on the code sites, sometimes a disgruntled ex/employee leaves a local code for staff and you travel for staff price. :!:

Jeez man just give it up will you!!!

There are bargains to be had out there - you just have to ask.

And no - surprisingly I had difficulty negotiating with the Easyjet website so unfortunately had difficulty knocking that one down however when booking 3 flights for a trip to the states last year playing off flightcentre and trailfinders off against each other worked a treat and saved a bundle.

For all you interested in saving money I recommend the forums on www.moneysavingexpert.com - some excellent tactics. LV - don't look it will have you going green.

Las Brisas have a few 3 bedroomed villas. We usually stay on Los Calamares which is just behind Las Brisas. There are quite a few 3 and 4 bed villas for rent on there.
